Baby Bears Learning to Forage
Found a mama black bear and her tiny spring cubs a couple of days ago in a secluded bay on the way to my secret picnic spot. I sat against the shore watching them for over a half an hour. Once in a while the mama bear would pick up my scent, as soon as her nose turned upward and started wiggling, I would tell her how beautiful her babies and thank her for letting me glimpse into their lives. I would close my eyes and send her the safest feeling energy. She would resume feeding until eventually she decided it was time to wander back into the forest.
